Meet Our Founder: Laura Johnston, CEO
With over 15 years of experience in the dental industry, Laura Johnston is the visionary behind My Dental SOP, a pioneering software solution designed to streamline employee onboarding and cross-training in dental practices. Laura's journey in the dental field has been extensive and varied, encompassing roles such as dental coach, office manager, and insurance specialist for both dental anesthesia and general dental practices.
As a certified leadership development professional and an authorized partner of Everything DiSC, Laura has dedicated her career to improving the dental industry’s approach to training and onboarding. Her firsthand experience with high turnover rates and inadequate onboarding processes fueled her passion for creating a solution that not only enhances production but also boosts employee retention.
For the past several years, Laura has worked as a coach and consultant, where she identified a critical gap—not only for dental practices but also for the consultants who support them. This insight led to the creation of My Dental SOP, which empowers practices to achieve greater efficiency and success.
Based in Boise, Idaho, Laura balances her professional life with a love for the outdoors, reading, and exploring the latest in technology. As one of eight children and a mother of five, she also cherishes time with her family.
